Bullying Meaning Explained Simply

Unfortunately, there is no one answer to that question because bullying can take on many different forms. It can be physical, verbal, or emotional. It can happen in person or online. And it can happen to anyone - regardless of their age, race, gender, or background.  Bullying Meaning: When a stronger, more powerful person, hurts or scares a smaller or weaker person on person.  It can be once, it can be repeatedly and it usually has to do with a characteristic.  Something about the victim is causing the bullying.  Hair color, skin color, race, religion, special need, etc.  

 Even 3rd grade students are not immune from bullying. That's why it's so important for parents to talk to their children about what bullying is and how to stand up to it. Only by working together can we hope to put an end to this destructive behavior.
